Bluewave’s Burns Night Celebration Recap

Bluewave is thrilled to share that our recent Burns Night celebration at Salesforce Tower was a resounding success! As a proud sponsor of the event, we were delighted to welcome over 100 attendees for an evening filled with Scottish traditions, meaningful discussions, and a shared commitment to making a difference. The event successfully raised over £5,000 for The NSPCC and The Dreams Come True Charity, thanks to the generosity of attendees and Salesforce’s matched donations. It was a truly special night, celebrating both the rich heritage of Robert Burns and the impactful work being done across the public sector.

Celebrating in Style

The evening was held on Salesforce’s Ohana Floor, which was beautifully decorated with Bluewave banners and nods to Burns Night. Guests were welcomed with champagne and traditional Scottish haggis, setting the tone for an authentic and memorable experience. Paul Bonner – Account Director for Public Sector Healthcare at Salesforce – kicked off the event in full Scottish attire, delivering a warm welcome to all. Other members of the Salesforce leadership team also took to the stage, providing an insightful overview of Burns Night and highlighting the transformative role that Salesforce technology plays in Scotland, the UK, and beyond. The evening was further enriched with a Scottish whisky showcase, a lively Ceilidh band, and traditional bagpipe performances – ensuring that the spirit of Scotland was well and truly alive throughout the night. A raffle added an extra layer of excitement, helping to push fundraising efforts past the £5,000 mark.

Bluewave’s Presentation

Paul Mooney, Bluewave’s Sales Director and Public Sector Lead, delivered a compelling presentation that showcased how Bluewave collaborates with Salesforce to drive digital transformation for public and private sector organisations. He highlighted our extensive experience in the Scottish public sector, sharing success stories from projects with organisations such as The Scottish National Investment Bank, Marine Scotland, and Education Scotland.

“The Burns Night event held on the Ohana floor of Salesforce tower on 30th January was a fantastic experience, combining excellent opportunities to reflect on the year gone past while planning the year ahead with the public sector, utility and financial teams in Salesforce, mixed in with ceilidh dancing, whisky tasting and more, all while supporting two excellent causes.” – Paul Mooney

Paul also introduced our Agentforce Accelerators, a tailored suite of solutions designed to help public sector organisations get to grips with Salesforce’s latest suite of AI solutions. Not only can our Agentforce Accelerators help organisations to enhance their AI knowledge, we also take things a step further and guide attendees on using AI to enhance their citizen engagement and service capabilities. By leveraging our expert knowledge in this space, our Agentforce Accelerators will empower public sector teams to deliver more responsive and personalised support to the communities they serve.
