Celebrating Burns Night with Salesforce and Bluewave

We are thrilled to share that next week, Bluewave Technology is partnering with Salesforce to host a Burns Night celebration. This exciting event, held at Salesforce Tower in London, will bring together partners and colleagues for an evening of Scottish culture and meaningful connections. Showcasing a blend of tradition and the latest Salesforce technology, the event will highlight the best of what makes Burns Night – and the Salesforce and Bluewave partnership – so unique. It promises to be an unforgettable evening, with a mix of inspiring presentations, philanthropy, and live entertainment.

What is Burns Night?

Burns Night, celebrated annually on January 25th, honors the life and works of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet. Known for his evocative and heartfelt writing, Burns captured the spirit of Scotland in timeless works like Auld Lang Syne and Address to a Haggis. The evening traditionally features haggis, poetry recitals, music, and plenty of good cheer. For Bluewave, hosting a Burns Night celebration is a perfect way to pay homage to Scotland’s rich heritage. Having delivered transformative Salesforce solutions to multiple Scottish organisations, such as The Scottish National Investment Bank, Education Scotland, and Marine Scotland, Bluewave is proud of its deep connections to the region. Our collaborative work with the Scottish public sector resulted in our recent win at The Causeway Awards, where we received The Irish Exporter to Scotland Award for 2024. We also host a yearly event in Edinburgh that brings together our Scottish customers to discuss the latest Salesforce innovations and brainstorm ideas for transforming the Scottish public sector. While our experts are very much involved in the business ecosystem of Scotland, we are also deeply invested in the region’s culture as well.

An Evening of Tradition and Charity

The Salesforce event that we are sponsoring is set to take place at Salesforce Tower, London – on Salesforce’s Ohana Floor. The event is a celebration of Scottish culture and community, where guests will be treated to a Scottish whisky tasting, live music from a traditional Ceilidh band, as well as the chance to win exciting prizes in a charity raffle. Bluewave’s Public Sector Lead and Sales Director – Paul Mooney – will deliver a special presentation highlighting the impactful work we have achieved in collaboration with Salesforce. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the rest of Bluewave’s senior leadership team, who will be on hand to share insights into how the company delivers digital transformations for public and private sector organisations alike.

The event is more than just a celebration – it’s a chance to make a difference. Attendees have been asked to donate £25 to the NSPCC for entry, with Salesforce generously matching every donation. Combined, the event is set to raise approximately £4,500 for this vital charity, and if you’d also like to donate, please follow the link here.
