Burns Night 2026: Our Experiences

Bluewave proudly joined Salesforce and Sprout Social at Salesforce Tower in London for an unforgettable celebration of Scottish culture, community spirit, and shared purpose. The event brought together customers, partners, colleagues and friends for a night of tradition, networking and insight – all while raising just over £5,000 for NSPCC and Cancer Research UK through generous donations and contributions matched by Salesforce.

Burns Night, which commemorates Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns, is an annual celebration of heritage marked by poetry, music, whisky and haggis. For Bluewave and Salesforce, the night has grown into much more than a cultural gathering: it’s a platform for strengthening ties across the tech and public sector community, sharing innovation stories, and highlighting the impact of digital transformation.

Tradition Meets Technology

As guests arrived on Salesforce’s Ohana Floor – adorned with Scottish accents and Bluewave branding – the evening began with warm welcomes, champagne and the familiar rhythm of bagpipes. Attendees enjoyed traditional Scottish fare alongside opportunities to connect with peers from across the Salesforce ecosystem. There was a palpable sense of community as guests reconnected with old friends and made new connections over shared experiences. The celebrations also included whisky tastings and lively entertainment, blending Burns Night tradition with an atmosphere of curiosity and collaboration. These moments of levity reinforced the event’s deeper purpose: building relationships that fuel digital transformation across sectors.

Here are some snapshots from the event:

Our Success in Scotland

A standout moment came when Bluewave’s leadership team took to the stage to present insights into the company’s ongoing work – particularly in Scotland – and shared updates on business growth. Reflecting on shared achievements with Salesforce, the team highlighted impactful digital transformation work with Scottish public sector organisations including The Scottish National Investment Bank, Marine Scotland and Education Scotland. The presentation underscored how Bluewave leverages Salesforce technology to help public and private organisations deliver better services, streamline operations, and improve engagement with citizens and stakeholders alike. The team also introduced Bluewave’s Agentforce Accelerators, a suite of tools designed to help organisations adopt Salesforce AI solutions more confidently and purposefully – especially around enhancing service delivery and engagement experiences.

This focus on innovation and practical impact reflected a broader theme: the power of partnership and community in driving meaningful transformation. Attendees were reminded that shared technology platforms like Salesforce, combined with strong consulting expertise, can unlock efficiency, insight and growth.

Supporting Worthy Causes

Throughout the night, fundraising efforts were front and centre. Bluewave and Salesforce asked attendees to donate upon entry, and thanks to their generosity – alongside Salesforce’s commitment to match contributions – the event raised just over £5,000. This amount will be split between NSPCC, which does vital work protecting children across the UK, and Cancer Research UK, supporting life-saving cancer research and awareness. This charitable element speaks to the heart of the Burns Night tradition — one that celebrates not only rich culture but also giving back to community. It’s a reminder that business gatherings can serve a bigger purpose, uniting organisations around causes that matter.

A Year of Growth and New Horizons

Burns Night 2026 also offered a moment to reflect on a milestone year for Bluewave. In early 2025, the company joined the global technology services firm Aspire Systems in a strategic acquisition that strengthened Bluewave’s Salesforce practice and expanded its European footprint. Since joining the Aspire family, Bluewave has continued to deepen its consulting expertise, accelerate its delivery capabilities, and expand collaboration with partners and clients across the UK and Ireland. This growth enables Bluewave to bring even more value to organisations seeking to modernise systems, harness data more effectively, and deliver digital services that delight end users. Event attendees heard how this evolution not only amplifies Bluewave’s technical reach but also reinforces its commitment to delivering Salesforce-powered transformation that drives real outcomes – whether that’s smarter internal workflows, better experiences for citizens, or truly connected enterprise platforms.

As the ceilidh dancing and conversations carried into the night, one thing was clear: the 2026 Burns Night wasn’t just a celebration of Scottish culture – it was a celebration of partnership, progress, and purpose. For Bluewave and Salesforce, the event reaffirmed the value of community, the impact of collaboration, and the importance of doing good while doing well. Here’s to building more bridges, driving further innovation, and continuing to deliver transformative outcomes together – slàinte mhath!
