2024 – An Exciting Year for Bluewave

After closing the door on a successful 2023, the Bluewave team’s attention is now fixed on exciting future developments. Read on to find out about what we’ve got planned for 2024 and beyond.

2023 was a great year for Bluewave, with a number of large clients coming on board, an increased presence at numerous industry events – from Salesforce World Tour, to Membership Excellence, and Dreamforce 2023 – as well as our acknowledgement at Northumbrian Water’s GEM Awards. 2024 is set to be another exciting one for the business, with new products and services soon to be launched, upcoming events, and some new additions to our highly skilled team this year.

Embracing AI

2023 saw our partners at Salesforce go all in on their investment into generative Artificial Intelligence, with over 50 new AI products launching, plus even more tools due to come out this year. Predictions for 2024 show that Generative AI is set to change the business landscape in a huge way, but issues around authenticity and security have left some company leaders concerned. Enter the Einstein Trust Layer, designed by Salesforce to guarantee an iron-clad layer of security to all GenAI functions. This vital addition allows businesses to use AI with confidence, safe in the knowledge that their data is protected.

Here at Bluewave, we are aware that our customers want to embrace generative AI, but some are apprehensive, some don’t know where to begin, and some have implemented the technology already but aren’t currently getting the most out of it. From leveraging our close relationship with our partners at Salesforce, we have developed a deep understanding of their AI offerings, and we are uniquely positioned to pass that knowledge on to our customers. If you’d like to know more about generative AI and Salesforce’s AI developments, please get in touch with us, our experts are on hand to provide everything from a general overview of Salesforce’s AI products, to an in-depth analysis of our customers’ systems, and a detailed roadmap showing how to implement AI to get the best results. Stay tuned for more info on this in the coming weeks.

Upcoming Events

Bluewave is no stranger to industry events. Last year, we were the official sponsor for the UK Public Sector afterparty at Salesforce World Tour London for the second year running, we also engaged with experts and potential customers at MemberWise Membership Excellence 2023 – the largest industry event for the membership and association sector in the UK. Bluewave’s experts also attended the Going the Extra Mile Awards, Northumbrian Water’s award ceremony that recognises partners and contributors that helped the utilities organisation reach its goals successfully and sustainably. We were lucky enough to walk away with a runner up award for Achieving a Great Result. Earlier in the year, we travelled to Edinburgh to host our second Scottish Public Sector User Group session, which was attended by leadership from Marine Scotland, Education Scotland, the Scottish National Investment Bank, DTS Scotland, and much more.

For 2024, we are not slowing down, with many more events coming down the pipeline – expect to see us at similar events to the ones we attended last year, as well as some new appearances. We’ll also be hosting more virtual events this year, with webinars and virtual training sessions soon to be announced. We can’t wait to join forces once again with our partners at Salesforce, Sprinklr, Amazon Web Services, FinDock, and Blackthorn to share knowledge with our existing customers and wider community. This year will also feature a number of in-person appearances, across the public sector, as well as membership, FSI, and more.

New Faces

As Bluewave expands as a business, we have seen some new faces join the company over the past twelve months, with more to come later in 2024. Recent additions include increasing the number of experts on our AerCap team, which has been in place for many years now, covering all Salesforce-related requirements and developing highly bespoke solutions for the world’s largest aircraft lessor. As AerCap’s requirements have increased, we have added to the team that works diligently for this client, and we predict further development to come in the future.

Due to increased demand from our existing and new customers, we have added to our Marketing Cloud team, and welcome Josh Clarke to Bluewave later this month. Josh has over 10 years’ experience in marketing technology and joins our team of Marketing Cloud experts, working remotely from Peterborough. We have also welcomed Senior Sales Manager Jamie Barnes to the company. Jamie has recently joined us from the Salesforce practice at Publicis Sapient, where, for over 5 and a half years, he provided professional services and consulting to clients across multiple verticals and managed the relationship with Salesforce AE’s and contacts. With his previous experience and skillset, he was the obvious choice to join Bluewave’s sales team, working remotely from London, so expect to hear from him soon.

With new faces joining the team, new services being launched, and a series of events in the pipeline, 2024 is shaping up well for Bluewave and our valued clients. From our team to yours – here’s to a prosperous new year, filled with success and collaboration.
